DUVÁN DUQUE VARGAS
Is a writer-director. Through a unique voice in Colombian cinema, he has used comedy and drama to portray the Bogota upper class and its complex relationship with money, power and corruption. His short films have been selected at TIFF, Clermont-Ferrand, Aspen and La Habana, among others. He has also directed branded content, TVCs and digital ads for clients such as Adidas, Netflix, Disney, AB InBev, Falabella, and Rappi.

Duván Duque Vargas is a writer-director and producer. Selected at festivals such as TIFF, Clermont-Ferrand and La Habana, and ranging from cynical to deeply emotional, his award-winning shorts have rendered a complex portrayal of the Bogotá upper class and its complex relationship with money, power and corruption.
He has also directed branded content, TVCs and digital ads for clients such as Adidas, Netflix, Disney, AB InBev, Falabella, and Rappi. As a producer, he has made music videos for artists such as Måneskin, Lido Pimienta, Mike Posner, Nathaniel Rateliff and Chelsea Wolfe, as well as narrative projects written and directed by other authors.
Duván is currently writing his first feature-length film, going further in the exploration he started in Todo Incluido (All-inclusive), his most recent short.
